• The first is a wooden frog shape-sorter with its 3 colourful babies: each of the slot-in shapes provides a different sensory activity (mirror effect and coloured filters) and a distinct colour to help your child solve their first shape-sorting toy. For an even richer sensory experience, 3 different-textured fabrics are also included. Hide them in the shape-sorting box and let baby grab them by reaching inside!
• The second is a 3-part round pond-themed pyramid with 2 wooden duck figurines: ideal for stimulating fine motor skills and encouraging interactions with baby!
• The box also includes a cloud-shaped wooden rain stick which is sure to arouse your toddler's curiosity: its rounded shape is perfect for holding and the small coloured beads are fascinating to look at.
• Last but not least, there’s the adorable wooden puzzle: it comprises 3 pieces that can easily be grasped by their pegs and will prompt baby to discover the pond inhabitants who like hiding beneath the multi-sized water lilies.

This toy box intended for children aged 12 months was developed in collaboration with a psychomotor therapist to promote the discovery of the body and sensoriality. The toys were designed to encourage the development of senses such as sight, touch and hearing.

The contents of your box:

• A wooden shape box With 3 small colorful turtles and 3 fabrics to insert into the box, each element offers a different tactile sensation or sensory activity.
• A wooden rain stick Cloud-shaped, with colored beads to observe through the transparent face, to stimulate baby's sight and hearing.
• A wooden stud puzzle Made up of 3 easy-to-grasp pieces, each location is a different size and hides a surprise!
• A round cardboard pyramid Accompanied by 2 wooden duck figurines, to hide under the cubes or to stack again and again.

To assist you, a detailed leaflet is included with your Janod box: it contains information concerning the areas of development of a 12-month-old child, but also explanations on the toys and their educational contributions.

The 12 month box adapts to the sensorimotor play needs that your child carries out on a daily basis at this age. It is intended to be scalable in order to allow him to play construction games. This box helps stimulate skills tactile, visual and sound of your child. It allows him to develop essential concepts for future learning such as spatial concepts, size, weight, textures.
